Replication Application

The replication application allows a charter holder that meets the eligibility criteria to submit an application for a new charter that will reflect the implementation of the existing educational program, corporate and governance structure, and financial and operational processes that have been successfully demonstrated in the school being replicated.

Transfer Application

The Transfer Application allows a charter holder that meets the eligibility criteria to request to transfer a school from the current charter to its own charter. Below are key steps to keep in mind.

Key Steps

Month

Letter of Intent Due               By the close of business on the last business day of November of the fiscal year prior to the intended transfer.
Application Due               By the close of business on the last business day of February for a transfer effective July 1 of the next fiscal year.

The request to transfer a school must be approved prior to the start of the next fiscal year (July 1) as outlined in legislation. 

If an applicant would like to request a transfer of sponsorship from another authorizer to the Board please call (602) 364-3080.

NOTE: The transfer charter application is now available for online submission via ASBCS Online.
