Operational Performance Framework and Guidance

A.R.S. §15-183(R) requires each charter school sponsor to adopt a performance framework and ground its actions in evidence of the charter holder’s performance in accordance with the performance framework. Statute requires the performance framework to include the operational performance expectations of the charter school, including adherence to all applicable laws and obligations of the charter contract.   In October 2014, the Board adopted its Operational Performance Framework and Guidance (“operational framework”). The purpose of the operational framework is to communicate the Board’s compliance-related expectations for ensuring that all charter holders in its portfolio are implementing their education program as set out in the charter and required by law and are adhering to statutory and contractual operational reporting and compliance requirements.  The current version of the Board’s operational framework is included below.
